A Time to Ponder

Just recently I celebrated my 29th birthday.  My husband took me out and we had a nice evening.  I’m starting to get to the age where I don’t really care much for doing the whole birthday party thing.  I rather have a nice quiet evening.  The only thing I usually ask for is to not have to cook.  Ha-ha.

On the way home my husband and I talked a bit about how we’re not exactly where we thought we would be at this point in our lives.  We’re happy, mostly, just not where we thought we would be.  We also talked a bit about our bucket lists.  So here’s what we want to do in no particular order:

  1. See the Red Square
  2. Drive the drift mountains in Japan
  3. See the Great Wall
  4. Go to the Guinness factory in Dublin
  5. Sail around the Mediterranean
  6. Visit Egypt
  7. Visit Stonehenge
  8. Have a cappuccino in Italy
  9. See Dracula’s Castle
  10. Eat in Paris
  11. Go to Mardi Gras
  12. Go to a luau
  13. Go ice skating at the Rockefeller rink
  14. Take an Alaskan cruise

I know this doesn’t seem like a long list, but there isn’t that much that we want to do or see.  We’re actually planning a trip to Russia now.  I don’t think it’s because of this list though.  I think it has more to do with my husband getting a little home sick.  I can understand the feeling.

Do you guys have a bucket list?  If so, what do you have on it?  Till next time!

I try to make a bucket list every few years. My most recent is going to Coachella (going in April) Japan (going this summer), Bali, India and Cape Town in South Africa!!! Hope I get to see all of those in the next little while.
